MAPUSA: A rider was killed when an inter-city bus hit his two-wheeler at Bodgini, Mapusa, on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Binu R Pillai.

According to the police, the accident occurred when the bus driver who was proceeding from Mapusa bus stand to Green Park hit the two-wheeler. Both the vehicles were proceeding in the same direction.
The bus was detained at the Mapusa police station and a case of motor vehicle accident was registered, police said.
The Mapusa police conducted the panchanama and sent the body to the Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Bambolim for post-mortem. Further investigation is under way, police said.
