The Judge on Tuesday examined the complainant Pascoal Dias and another witness. It is charged that on the intervening night of June 17 and 18, Francisco desecrated the cross at the erstwhile canoe halt at Cotta in Chandor from where people would cross the river Kushawati to go across.
While Police Sub Inspector Rohan Nageshkar investigated the matter Assistant Public Prosecutor Cyndiana Silva was the only assistant public prosecutor to successfully argue the matter to get charges framed against Francisco while he was discharged in all other cases filed against him.
