PERNEM: An under trial attacked an Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) staff Narayan Gawde at Colvale jail on Monday.
According to sources, the under trial Vikat Bhagat was taken to the Additional Sessions court at Mapusa for hearing. However, at around 5 pm when he was bought back to jail and taken to his cell, Bhagat attacked Gawade, which he warded off. Bhagat is on trial for possessing drugs.
