United University Panel Sweeps GUCSU Elections, Ending TFU’s 11-Year Rule

In a historic outcome, the United University panel achieved a landslide victory in the Goa University Council Students’ Union (GUCSU) elections, ending the 11-year reign of TFU. The panel secured 19 of the 22 Group Representative posts and swept all five key positions.

Hritik Mandrekar was elected President with a margin of 549 votes, while Sarvesh Satoskar won the Secretary post with 270 votes. Atharva Pednekar claimed the Sports & Cultural Secretary position with 385 votes, and Siya Kalangutkar emerged as Ladies’ Representative with 413 votes. Viraj Vaigankar was elected unopposed as Research Representative, completing a decisive 5-0 victory for United University.
