PONDA: After the Ponda Municipal Council and police shut down the fish and vegetable market on account of the State-wide curfew, several vegetable vendors, who operated from market shed, started selling veggies in the space behind Ponda Market, on Monday.
Consumers, who were inconvenienced following the closure of the vegetable market, benefited from the move by these vendors, who managed to purchase vegetables at the open space.
However, with the Ponda fish market closed, several residents question how will they be able to get their daily fish for consumption.
