Verna Police Book Seven for Attempting to Block Public Access Road to Hotel Project

Verna Police Station have registered an offence against seven persons for allegedly attempting to obstruct a public access road leading to a hotel project by constructing an illegal wall.

According to police, the accused unlawfully erected the structure with the intention of blocking the road, which is meant for public use. When staff associated with the project objected to the illegal construction, the accused allegedly abused and threatened them.

Police further stated that the actions of the accused resulted in damage to public property. Based on a complaint, an offence has been registered, and investigations are currently underway to ascertain the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

Authorities have reiterated that any attempt to encroach upon or obstruct public roads will be dealt with strictly as per law.
