MARGAO: Margao Town Police today arrested 26 year old Saiesh Manohar Vasswade and recovered from him 3 kgs of ganja or marijuana worth around Rs 3 lakh in the open market.
Saiesh apparently had come to the bus stop near Babu Naik’s house at Aquem to deliver the narcotic to somebody when he was arrested by the police.
During interrogation he revealed that last year he was arrested by the Anti Narcotic Cell of Goa Police from Panjim for a similar crime thus establishing that he is a regular in the drug trade. Police are now trying to trace the source of the narcotics and have therefore kept Saiesh in their custody.
