CURTORIM: Sao Jose de Areal blanked Raia SC 2-0 to move into the semi-finals of the Wilred Leisure Soccer cup football tournament organised by Wilred Leisure SC, Curtorim, at St Alex Church ground, Curtorim, on Monday.
Raia striker Oilex Oliveira should have netted in the third minute but the striker’s shot hit the Areal side netting.
At the other end, Areal’s Prisco Mura took a powerful shot in the 12th minute but his attempt was well saved by Raia keeper Leo Colaco.
In the 29th minute, Areal netted a goal through Prisco Moura. Areal further inflated the lead through Bersel Viegas in the 45th minute. Sao Jose de Areal will now meet SCC Loutolim in the semi-finals August 8.
