PANJIM: Agnel Polytechnic, Verna hammered Agnel Institute of Food Crafts and Culinary Sciences 40-9 to emerge champions of IDS basketball tournament.

For Agnel Polytechnic, Malivai Fernandes (19 points), Sheldon Braganza (8) and Shohan Rodrigues (6) were the top scorers.
On the way to the final, Agnel Polytechnic beat Institute of Ship Building Technology, Vasco 30-6. Malivai Fernandes (8) and Sheldon Braganza (8) were the top scorers.
Fr Tony Fernande, superior delegate of Agnel Technical Education Complex gave away the prizes to the winners and runners-up in the presence of Shubhash Lotlikar principal, Sandesh Prabhu organizing secretary and Antonio Nunes manager.
The team consisting of Elrich Pereira, Shohan Rodrigues, Sheldon Braganza (vice-captain), Ashvek Naik, Abhinav Faldessai, Malivai Fernandes (captain), Shakib Mohammad, Joel Coutinho, Aston D’Cruz, Renz Cardozo, Dyron Rodrigues and Aldrich Rodrigues alongwith Antonio Nunes (manager) and Shubhash Lotlikar (principal).
