CARMONA: Assolda Veterans defeated Varca Veterans 3-2 to move into the quarter-finals of the Carmona Veterans football tournament at Carmona Panchayat ground, on Thursday.
Assolda Veterans netted through Arnold Gomes in the 5th minute. Angel Gomes netted the second. Varca netted a goal through Henry Fernandes before Agnelo Gomes of Assolda scored his second in the 40th minute. Varca scored their second goal in the 46th minute of the game.
