DRAMAPUR: Assolda Veterans blanked Chinchinim Veterans 5-0 and moved into the quarter-finals of the St Joseph Boys, Dramapur Veterans football tournament, at Dramapur ground, on Tuesday.
Assolda’s Peter netted the first goal of the match in the 20th minute. Three minutes later, Peter doubled the account.
Rosario netted the third for Assolda in the 32nd minute.
Mario made it 4-0 in the 40th minute and in the 47th minute Mario netted his brace and the fifth goal for Assolda. With just two minutes left for the final whistle, Chinchinim’s Marcelino Pinto took a shot which hit the Assolda crossbar and went out of play.
