RAIA: Benaulim Veterans edged out Fatorda Veterans 3-2 in the quarter-finals to move into the semi-finals of UK Goans Dynamic Group football tournament at the Dando ground, Benaulim, on Saturday.
The match played at a blistering pace saw both teams fiercely vying for an early advantage. Both teams missed opportunities to score despite numerous attempts, the first half ended in a tense goalless draw.
The second half mirrored the first, with neither team able to break the deadlock, setting the stage for a dramatic penalty shoot-out.
