Betalbatim in semis

Betalbatim Sporting Club beat St Anthony’s Sporting Club, Colva 4-2 via the tie-breaker to march into the semi-finals of All Goa Muriel Faleiro memorial inter-village football tournament at church ground, Nuvem on Friday. The teams were tied 1-1 at the end of normal period.
St Anthony’s took the lead through Leslie Fernandes. Crossing over, Betalbatim attacked repeatedly and were rewarded when Allwyn Fernandes equalised with a snap shot.
Desmond Fernandes, Cajie D’Souza and Hayston D’Costa converted for Betalbatim while Nelson Gomes scored for St Anthony’s.
