RUMDAMOL: Candolim Veterans defeated Santana Veterans 6-5 via the tie-breaker to move into the semifinal of the 1st Rehan Muzawar Cup organised by Sporting Club De Rumdamol at Rumdamol football ground on Tuesday.
Candolim Veterans opened the scoreline through Ency D’Souza with a placement shot in the 28th minute and as the match progressed in the 43rd minute Vishwas Satarkar equalised for Santana veterans.
In the tie-breaker Candolim veterans proved to be better shooters.
