CHANDOR: Host Chandor Club prevailed over Cuncolim Union 4-3 via the tie-breaker in a hard fought match to enter into the quarter-finals of the Chandor Seamen inter-village football tournament organised by Chandor Sports Club, at Chandor ground, on Sunday.
Chandor took the lead in the 45th minute through Jeston Martins. Cuncolim equalised through Raghuvir Gaonkar in the 65th minute.
In the tie-breaker, Benson Fernandes, Darren Fernandes and Brivon Dias scored for Chandor while Bharat Gaonkar and Jerico Dias scored for Cuncolim.
