Charity match on Aug 1; GPL deferred to further dates

PANJIM: The Goa Football Association charity match scheduled on August 1, between Dempo Sports Club and Goan Football Club will be played under floodlights at Duler Stadium, Mapusa.
The match will kick off at 6.30 p.m. and there will be no free access to the game.
“This year the beneficiary is Andrew Rodrigues of Baina Sports Club and the tickets are priced at Rs 50 and Rs 100,” stated a GFA official.
It has been also learnt that the Goa Professional League, which was tentatively scheduled to kick off from August 23, has been postponed to further dates. 
The league is likely to commence after the West Zone Qualifiers for Santosh Trophy which will take place in Goa in September.
