In the first match played at Panjim Gymkhana ground, Campal, Panjim, Chowgule Warriors defeated Dempo Cricket Club by 13 runs.
Chowgule won the toss and elected to bat first, posting 205/9 in 45 overs. Achit Sigwan top scored with 71 runs.
In reply, Dempo Cricket Club were bowled out for 192 in 44 overs as Kashyap Bakhale’s 68 runs went in vein. Darshan Mishal clinched three wickets for 29 runs.
In the second match, at GCA Academy ground Porvorim, Caculo Goans thumped Geno Sports Club by 87 runs.
Caculo Goans won the toss and elected to bat, posting 194/10 in 44.3 overs. Swapnil Asnodkar was outstanding with 85 runs. Robin D’Souza picked up four wickets for 39 runs.
Geno Sports Club were bundled out for 107 in 29.5 overs. Shanu Vantamore was impressive with the ball with figures of 18/4.
