AMBELIM: Cuncolim Union defeated Rossman Cruz SC, Nagoa 5-2 to cruise into the final of All-Goa 4th Shooting Stars Cup inter-village football tournament, organized by Margao Sports Club in association with Shooting Stars Sports Club, Assolna, at Ambelim ground, on Friday.
Cuncolim Union took the lead through Sampark Rebello while Daulat Dessai scored the second in the eighth minute.
Clifton Fernandes made it 3-0 in the 49th minute for Cuncolim Union and Sampark secured his brace in the 51st minute.
Bareston Barretto pulled a goal back for Rossman Cruz in the 53rd minute but Leonard D’Costa made it 5-1 while Ajay Satarkar further reduced the margin for Rossman Cruz in the dying minutes.
