ASSOLDA-PARODA: Curtorim Gymkhana defeated Uguem Rising Club 7- 6 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of the 11th St Anthony Festival Cup organised by St Anthony Sports Club, Assolda, at Assolda Panchayat ground, on Tuesday.
Both teams started the match on the forefront and there were many scoring opportunities for the strikers of both teams but the strikers lacked sharpness.
In the tie-breaker, Curtorim Gymkhana proved to be better shooters.
Curtorim Gymkhana will now meet Varca SC in the quarter-finals on June 22.
