Dicarpalim Sports Club edged out Chandor Sports Club 4-2 via the tie-breaker to advance into the quarter-finals of Fr. Agnelo Youth inter-village football tournament organised by Fr Agnelo Youth Sports Club, Cotombi, Paroda, at village Panchayat ground, Avedem, Paroda on Sunday. There was no score at full time.
The teams attacked from the start but failed to penetrate into the rival’s camps with both the goalkeepers alert under the bar.
In the tie-breaker, Sidney Fernandes, Charles Colaco, Bruno Costa and Mario Valles were on target for Dicarpalim while Ashward Fernandes and Cruz Gomes converted for Chandor.
