NUVEM: Excel Rovers Loutolim got the better of Navelim Veterans 5-2 and moved into the semi-finals of the Nuvem Inter Village Veterans Cup, organised by Nuvem Veterans, at Jesus Mary Joseph church ground, Nuvem, on Wednesday.
Johny D’Cruz of Excel veterans was the star-of-the-match with his dribbling and scored a hat-trick in the sixth,ninth and 12th minutes respectively.
Lourenco netted a goal for Excel Rovers in the 21st minute to make it 4-0. Melvin netted a goal in the 60th minute to make it 5-0.
Navelim Veterans netted two quick goals through Sukhdev Arvade and Newton Fernandes in the 48th and 56th minutes respectively.
