The camp had 55 children in the age group 6- 13 years under the watchful eyes of coaches Luis and Prajyot. The children were divided into four teams and the programme began with the teams playing a small tournament.
One young trainee Myron welcomed the gathering and on behalf of all trainees promised GFDC and the management at Don Bosco that the trainees would do their best and be committed to training should the centre at Loutolim materialise.

Dr. Rufino speaking on the occasion congratulated the children on completion of the camp and encouraged them to carry on the same way.
He thanked the parents for supporting their children by attending the camp and explained the importance of playing sports, as it keeps them fit and alert which also enables them to focus on their studies.
