PANJIM: The GFA’s official football season 2022-2023 will kick off with the curtain raiser Charity Match between champions Dempo Sports Club and runner-up Salgaocar Football Club on August 15, at Duler Stadium, Mapusa at 4 pm.
The Professional League will kick start from September 10. The Taca Goa U-20 First Division / Second Division League will kick off on August 16. The Third Division League will also commence on the same day.

The GFA Futsal Championships will be held from September 1 to October 31.
The GFA’s U–18 First Division/Second Division League will begin on November 1 and will conclude on New Year’s Eve day. The Vedanta Women’s League will start on September 1.
Clubs are requested to intimate the championships they intend to participate as per the eligibility and make the payment of the appropriate fees upto August 6without fail.
The Executive Committee has decided that those clubs, provisional or permanent, who have not renewed their registration, could do so upto July 25with payment of late fee.
Meanwhile, the Executive Committee has decided to implement the change in the Laws of the Game pertaining to five substitutions from August 15.
The dates for the other GFA tournaments are as follows: GFA 2nd Division League(01/11/2022 to 15 /01 / 2023); GFA First Division League(16/01/2023 to 30/04/2023); GFA U– 16 First Division / Second Division League(17/09/2022 – 30/11/2022); GFA U–14 First Division / Second Division League Boys (17/09/2022-30/11/2022); GFA U–14 Girls League (17/09/2022-30/11/2022) and Beach Football(April 2023).
