Goa girls team secure joint 3rd place

PANJIM: The Goa girls team secured joint 3rd place in the 29th Sub-Junior National Tennis Ball Cricket Championship, held at Kalol, Gujarat, recently.

In the semi-finals, Goa faced Uttar Pradesh (UP) and lost by 3 wickets. Batting first, Goa posted a score of 41/4 in 6 overs, with Pratiksha Kerkar scoring 17 runs and Sanvi Pagi adding 12 runs. UP chased the target, scoring 42/5 in 5.3 overs. Pratiksha Kerkar took 2 wickets for 17 runs, while Purva Gaude took 2 wickets for 13 runs.
