RAIA: Goa Priests Team (A) scored a solitary goal win over Parish Youth of Tollecanto/Baradi 1-0 in the exhibition match organised by St Roque Parish Youth, Tollecanto, under the guidance of parish priest Fr Matheus Rodrigues and Chaplain Fr Doel Dias on the occasion of Vocation Sunday, at the newly built SAG Government Primary School ground, Tollecanto, Velim, on Sunday.
Fr Christopher scored the all-important goal in the first half.
In the second half, Parish Youth of Tollecanto/Baradi regrouped with vigour to score the much-needed equaliser but in vain. They could not penetrate the rival defence.
Velim MLA Cruz Silva was the chief guest. Other dignitaries present were Velim Sarpanch Veena Cardozo, Zilla Panchayat member Julio and panch members.
