FATORDA: Goa Velha SC defeated Velsao Sports and Cultural Club 3-1 in the Air Arabia GFA U-18 League played at Artificial Turf, Fatorda, on Thursday.
The Velsao side were the first to open the scoring in the 24th minute of the game through Swiston Fernandes, however, the Goa Velha side came out stronger and levelled the scores in the second half through Sahil Kutikar.
Sahil later completed his brace in the 50th minute as he gave the Goa Velha side a lead with a neat finish into the post.
Leo Gracias added the third goal for the winners as Goa Velha side wrapped a win staging a strong comeback.
