House pats Steffi

The Goa Assembly on Tuesday congratulated athlete Steffi Cardozo for her exemplary achievement who has till date won 25 national medals in all categories.
St Cruz MLA, Victoria Fernandes, who moved the congratulatory motion said the people of Goa are truly proud of the tremendous success achieved by Steffi. Besides 25 national medals, she has to her credit 20 West Zone and inter-State medals, said Fernandes and requested the government to take due note of Steffi’s achievement.
Tourism Minister Nilkanth Harlankar as well Sports Minister Babu Azgaonkar also spoke on the motion applauding Steffi.
