KOLKATA: Andre Santos, who has arguably been FC Goa’s most impressive player in the ISL explained that there are times when a team fails to capitalize on the opportunities and the Sunday’s game was an example of the same.
“We had the best chances of the match. We created the best opportunities. But this is normal. Not every time we can finish the opportunities that are created. Kolkata is a very good team and now we have a big game in Goa. We hope that everything will go well and we go through to the final,” said Santos.
“Sometimes it happens. We were scoring in almost all the matches, so today it was maybe our bad luck. We have a game left in Goa; so, let’s see. The best thing is that we don’t have away goals rule and we will be having our home crowd as well in the next game,” he said.
