MAPUSA: Lourdes Convent High School, Saligao defeated LD Samant Memorial High School, Porvorim 5-2 in the Bardez Taluka U-14 Boys football tournament, organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, played at Assonora Sports Complex, on Friday.
Crespo D’Souza scored a splendid hat-trick while Pritesh Parsekar and Denzil Fernandez scored a goal each.
Dnyanprassak Vidyalaya defeated Shri Vasant Vidyalay 2-0. Chubby Cheeks Spring Valley High School, Porvorim defeated Government High School, Nadora 2-1.
St Ann’s High School, Thivim defeated Mae De Deus HS, Corjuem 2-0.
St Anthony High School, Guirim drubbed Dona Leonar Memorial High School, Porvorim 8- 0. Ryan Dias and Ashish Kanhat scored a brace each while Yashas Kolgoankar Cristiano Gomes Kenrich Menezes and James David scored a goal each for Guirim School.
In the last match of the day, Holy Cross High School, Bastora defeated Saraswat Vidyalaya Mapusa 2-0. Vishal Butte and Deep karapurkar scored the goals for the Bastora school.
