Matemorod A Boys through Joy D’Costa and Miller Costa were at their best upfront while Terence Duarte created moves for Molly Boys.
As the match progressed, Matemorod A Boys’ Miller tried a shot in the goal from four yards but it was saved by the rival goalkeeper.
In the 10th minute, Moll Boys’ Terence made inroads in the rival citadel but Matemorod A goalkeeper Luis Dias was equal to the task by diving on time to make a save.
Joy also had a chance but his rasping shot hit the rival defender and went out for a corner kick.
After the lemon break, both the teams were in search of a match-winner but the defence wall stood tall like a solid rock.
In the last quarter, Miller and Terence missed opportunities for their respective teams.At the end of regulation time, the teams settled for a goalless draw.
In the ensuing tie-breaker, Matemorod A Boys netted through Paxton Dias,
Tony D’Costa, Benny Dias, Miller Costa and Claude Costa while Moll Boys were on target through Terence Duarte, Jaison Costa, Mauwin Pereira and Merwin Costa.
Matemorod A Boys will meet Holy Cross Boreivaddo in the final on June 12.
