RAIA: Mount Mary’s HS, Chinchinim, defeated Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Convent HS, Navelim,1-0 and moved into the semi-final of 1st Our Lady of Carmel soccer tournament at Curtorim ground, on Tuesday.

Mount Mary were awarded a penalty in the 35th minute which was converted by Jurico Corrier.
The Navelim school tried to get back in the game but their players fumbled with the chances that were created.

In the other match, Our Lady of Rosary HS, Fatorda, defeated St. Joseph Educational Institute, Chandor, 5-3 via the tie-breaker and also qualified for the semi-final.
Fatorda took the lead through Brennen Colaso in the 48th minute. Frazer Fernandes equalized for St. Joseph in the 55th minute.
In the tie-breaker Our Lady of Rosary HS proved to be the better shooters.
