MANGUESHI: Om Gajanan Mangueshi beat Mangueshim Youth 3-2 via the tie-breaker to lift the late Vasant G.Naik 5-a side football tournament, organised by Akar Boys, at Mangrish ground, Mangueshi- Ponda, recently.
The winners were awarded Rs 10,000 plus trophy while the runners-up collected Rs 6,000 plus trophy. Mhalsa Boys had to settle for third place.
Laxmikant Khedkar, Sarpanch of Priol was the chief guest and gave away the prizes in the presence of Damodar Naik, Ritesh Narvekar, Sangam Bandodker and other dignitaries.
