MAPUSA: Pax of Nagoa SC stunned Geno FC by 1-0 margin in the Goa Professional League held at Duler stadium, here, on Wednesday.
The first session never rose to great heights with play being mostly restricted to midfield tussle.

Geno colts having won their last league match against YBT tried to have better of the ball possession but had just one close attempt at the rival goal but Pax custodian Ozen Silva thwarted Prajat Naik in one-to-one situation.
At the other end Pax of Nagoa having lost to Guardian Angel showed much promise but a rasping 25-yard strike by U-21 Sherwin Abranches flew just over the cross bar while a stiff grounder by Jesloy Moniz was confidently collected by Geno’s goalkeeper Akshat Hadkonkar.
On crossing over nothing much transcribed in the first twenty minutes of the match, which came to life in the 65th minute but two stinging strikes by Geno’s Sahil Inamdar and substitute Aryan Chauhan missed the target narrowly
When it looked the match was heading for a draw Pax of Nagoa stunned their opponents with Delton Colaco scoring from inside the 6-yard box to give full points for the winning team.
Pax’s Delton Colaco received the man-of-the-match award from the hands of Anthony Fernandes, media officer & former GFA’s executive comitteee member.
In another match, Sporting Club de Goa defeated Guardian Angel SC, 1-0, to register win at Nagoa Panchayat Football ground, on Wednesday.
Sidharth Kundaikar netted the match winner for Sporting in the 21st minute.
