NAGOA-VERNA: Priests defeated Vasco Veterans 7-5 via the tie-breaker to lift the Love Football Priest Trophy in the exhibition match organised by Priests, at Nagoa Verna ground, on Sunday.
Jaison, Salvador and Austin and Rosario were the stars in the first ten minutes of the match for Priests.

Robin Pinheiro netted the first goal of the match for Vasco Veterans in the 20th minute with a placement shot. Six minutes later, Climax Lawrence scored after being assisted by Francis D’Souza and Jerry. Two minutes later, Salvador’s shot was saved by the Vasco keeper.
One minute later, Americo Rodrigues shot was saved by the Vasco keeper.
As the match progressed, in the 40th minute, Rosario scored two quick goals to levelled terms for Priests in the 47th minute.
In the tie-breaker, Priests proved to be better shooters.
Camilo Gomes vice president of the Good Shepherd Organisation Fatorda was the chief guest and gave away the prizes to the winners and runners-up.
