RAIA: Parish Youth Nuvem secured a comfortable win over Santa Cruz Society of Poitomaddo, Cuncolim, 4-1 to secure place in the semi-finals of UCT Trophy 2024 organised by United Club of Telaulim at Government Primary School ground, Telaulim, on Friday.
Parish Youth Nuvem were leading 3-0 at the half time. Shubert Colaco netted a brace in the 8th and 24th minute of play, while Meislein Barreto scored in the 30th minute of play.
In the second session, Santa Cruz Society of Poitomaddo missed the golden opportunities to score. Parish Youth Nuvem increased their tally through Francisco Colaco in the 50th minute, while Santa Cruz Society of Poitomaddo pulled a one goal back through Ravesh Velip in the 56th minute of play.
Alvaro Dias, former goalkeeper of Vasco SC presented the man-of-the-match to Shubert Colaco of Parish Youth Nuvem.
