MAPUSA: Parish Youth Vagator scored a thumping 4-0 win over Saligao United Sports Club to move into the next round of the XI Reira Soccer Cup, organised by Saligao Sporting Club, played at Saligao Sporting grounds, on Thursday.
Rama Parsekar put Vagator in the lead when he leapt high above his marker to nod in Vinayak Mulgaonkar’s cross, 1-0.
Changing ends it was a one way traffic with Vagator pumping in goals at regular intervals. Samuel D’Souza got two goals to his credit while Soma Korgaonkar added his name to the scorers list in the closing stages of the match.
