CALANGUTE: Vagator Parish Youth Sports Club scored a solitary goal victory over Friends XI, Vaddem to move into the quarter-finals of Parra Panchayat Cup inter-village football tournament at PVC ground, Parra, Friday.
In a fast paced encounter, the teams played well and missed scoring oppotunities.
Vagator scored the match-winner in the 15th minute through Abhijit off Rupesh. Vaddem tried their best to find the equaliser but a goal eluded them.
