TEAM HERALD
PANJIM: Rushad R. Naik of Loyola High School, Margao bagged all the 4 gold medals at stake in the under-14 category at the recently concluded 22nd Goa State Taekwondo Championship held at Fatorda, Margao.
Rushad took three golds in the Poomsae individual, mixed pair and team event and one gold in the U-35 kgs category boys in the Kyorugi (Sparring) event, emerging as Goa’s U-14 champion in Taekwondo.
Arya R. Naik of Presentation Convent High School was the other athlete who shone, bagging all the 3 gold medals at stake in the Poomsae event. The students of Goa Taekwondo Academy trained under Angela R. Naik international gold medalist dominated the Poomsae U-14 category and the Girls: U-14 category.

Individual Poomsae: Arya R Naik (Gold); Crizelda Menezes Gama (Silver); Dessai (Bronze).
Mixed Pair: Rushad R Naik & Arya R Naik (Gold); Keenan Cardozo & Kushboo Dessai (Silver ); Crisler Gama & Crizelda Gama (Bronze).
Gold to Arya R Naik; Kushboo Dessai and Criselda Menezes Gama.

Kyorugi U-14 Girls: (U-18 Kgs) Silver for Nicole Roche; U-16 Kgs: Bronze for Tanya Roche. U-16 Kgs: Bronze for Apeksha Kamat; U-26 Kgs: Bronze for Keydance Rodrigues.
Juniors Girls: U-52 Kgs – Bronze to Rajvi Naik and in the U-54 Kgs the brong went to Sailee Kulkarni.
