PANJIM: Salcete Strikers to meet Bardez Dragons in the final of the Geno Masters Cup limited overs cricket tournament (45 years and above), organised by Geno Cricket Club, on Friday.
In the first semi-finals played at Porvorim Cricket Academy ground, Porvorim, Salcete Strikers defeated Quepem Hitters by eight wickets.
Batting first, Quepem Hittes scored 107 for 8 in 15 overs. Salcete Strikers scored the required runs in the 14th over with 8 wickets in hand.
Devashish Bagchi of Salcete Strikers was adjudged as man of the match for his all-round performance.
In the second semis, Bardez dragons won against Tiswadi Tigers by 6 wickets.
