MAPUSA: Saligao United Sports scored a hard fought 7-6 win via sudden death over Penha de France Sports Club in the Nerul Panchayat Soccer Cup organized by Nerul Sports Club, at Nerul ground, on Saturday.
Both the sides played their hearts out, however the much anticipated goal eluded them till the final whistle.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Jayganesh, Edwin, David, Talvan, Earl, Stevan and Magan shot on target for Saligao United while Raju, Pundalik, Umesh, Parshuram, Mahbleshwar and Akshay scored for Penha de France.
