PANJIM: Sanford Fernandes won the first place in its 4th edition of Mogubai Memorial U-16 Rapid chess competition organised by Big Foot, Loutolim, for the students from Loutolim. Allan Costa bagged second place while Jatin Naik received the third place.
The other winners were Auguso Glenn Monteiro, Aditya Yadav, Allan Fernandes, Kayne Caldeira, Austin Fernandes, Adner Gomes, Sanito Gomes and Torsten Fernandes.
The prizes were distributed by J T Vas ex-Sarpanch of Loutolim.
