Sao Minguel take it easy

Clube Sao Minguel de Taleigao came from behind to keep up their 100 per cent record in this season’s GFA’s Second Division as they overcame St Sebastian, Santa Cruz 3-1 at Dr Remigio Pinto ground, Taleigao on Saturday. Sao Minguel led 2-1 at the breather.
St Sebastian took an early lead through Venoy Barretto who punted home in the 12th minute.
This spurred Sao Minguel into action and six minutes before the interval they got their equaliser, as Anthony Levino Pereira stroked home from the penalty spot.
In the 44th minute, Cedrick Peixoto struck to put Sao Minguel ahead at half time.
After the change of ends, both teams pushed forward for more goals, but it was only ten minutes from the end that Sao Minguel managed to add to their lead as Gautam got on the end of Pramod’s cross to score.
Sao Minguel has now collected nine points from three outings, while St Sebastian is yet to pick up points as this was their first match.
