Sesa FA hold Sporting ClubE

MAPUSA: Sesa Football Academy (SFA) U-18 boys put up a stellar performance to hold Sporting Clube De Goa to a 2-2 draw in the Hero Elite Youth League held at Sesa Football Academy, Sirsaim ground.
SFA took the lead in the eighth minute when Shridar Naidu gave finishing touches to Russel’s spadework.
Sporting did not waste much time and levelled terms when Anthony Fernandes got hold of a long ball and drilled in a right footer into the back of the Sesa net.
Sesa were rewarded a penalty kick in the 28th minute when Sporting defender Liston was found guilty of bringing down Ben with a rough tackle.
Sesa skipper Russel Vaz took responsibility and fired the ball into the Sporting goal to make it 2-1.
Changing over, Sporting managed to level terms in the 76th minute of play through Irfan who curled in the ball into the far end of the goal to make it 2-2.
