MAPUSA: Russel Marion Vaz’s goal in the 82nd minute from the penalty spot enabled Sesa Football Academy register a hard-fought victory over Salgaocar FC in the ongoing Hero Elite Youth League fixture held at Sirsaim ground, on Friday.
The all-important goal for the winners came in the 82nd minute where Mohammed Shafeeq was tackled by Salgaocar defender inside the penalty box prompting the referee to point to the spot and SFA captain and center back Russel Marion Vaz stepped up and calmly converted it into the bottom left corner of the goal to give full points to SFA unit.
