Sesa take it easy against Goa Velha

Sesa Football Academy scored a solitary goal win against Goa Velha in Kingfisher Professional League, at Tilak Maidan, here, on Thursday.
Sesa’s all-important goal came through the efforts of Pratesh Shirodkar in the first half.
Pratesh netted in the 36th minute, perfectly collecting the ball from Valerio Rodrigues.
The goal remained the decider till the final whistle even though Sesa had plenty of chances to net some more.
In the 56th minute, Gabrial Fernandes and Pratesh Shirodkar missed an open goal, when Goa Velha keeper Agnelo Noronha marched ahead on a cross served by Nicolau Colaco.
On another occasion keeper Agnelo came to his team’s rescue thwarting a power-packed shot from Lezly Fernandes.
Earlier, Sesa defender Nicolau Colaco thwarted Goa Velha’s goal scoring chance, as he cleared the goal line shot by Clyde Dias off a corner kick by Pankaj Fondeka.
