RAIA: Cross Boys of Carmona downed Young Strikers, Xirro-Carmona 2-0 in the final to emerge champions in the 8-a-side inter-ward football tournament in memory of Salvino, Ashvek, Anthony, Mackvin and Franky organised by Cross Boys of Carmona, at Carmona panchayat ground, on Sunday.
Shannon scored a brace for Cross Boys of Carmona in second half. Benaulim MLA Venzy Viegas was the chief guest. Prisco Rodrigues, Joao Matos D’Costa, Lavita Pinto and Vailona Fernandes were the other dignitaries. Eight teams participated in the tournament.
