St Savio face Sao Miguel in inaugural
PANJIM: St Savio Sports Club, Calangute will take on Clube Sao Miguel Taleigao in the inaugural match of St Cruz Panchayat Cup football organized by Cabesa Sports and Cultural Club at DSYA ground, St Cruz, at 5 p.m.
Maina SC Curtorim, Penha De France, Nuvem SC, Rossman Cruz SC, St Anthony SC Colva, FC Siolim, Nagoa Sporting, Sangolda Lightning, Saligao United, Holy Cross Arambol, Merces Club, Goa Velha SC, St Mathew’s Club, Azossim and Cabesa SCC will also vie for the top spot.
The winners will receive Rs 60,000 and a trophy while the runners-up will take home Rs 40,000 and a trophy. Individual prizes will also be given. The finals will be held on May 26. This tournament is sponsored by St Cruz Village Panchayat.
Floodlit tie-breaker at Vagator
CALANGUTE: The 3-a-side floodlit football tie-breaker organized by St. Anthony’s Parish Youth, Vagator will be held on May 10 at church compound, Vagator, from 7 p.m.

MARGAO: The All-Goa inter-municipal council and Cuncolim constituency cricket tournament organized by Cuncolim Municipal Council as part of their silver jubilee celebration will be held on May 11 and 12 respectively near KTC bus stand, Cuncolim.
The winners will receive Rs 30,000 and a trophy while the runners-up will get Rs 20,000 plus a trophy.
