Nat veterans TT tourney
PANJIM: The veterans national table tennis tournaments (40 to 50 years, 50 to 60 years and 60 years and above) will be held from April 16 to 20 in Srinagar.
Those interested may submit their entries to Uday Divekar, secretary Goa Veterans Table Tennis Association on 9890097827 by February 25 2013.
DBS trials at Calangute
PANJIM: The trials to select boys (12 to 17 years) for SAI’s Day Boarding Scheme (DBS) for the academic year 2013-14 will be held on February 28 at SAI Centre at St Joseph’s HS, Calangute, from 3.30 to 5.30 p.m.
Those interested and having sports merit certificate in football may report at the venue with kit.
U-13 football festival in Margao
PANJIM: The under-13 boys football festival will be held on February 23 to 24 at Nehru Stadium outside ground, Margao, from 9 a.m.
In all, 16 teams will participate. Besides the matches, various skill competitions will be held.
4-a-side football at Penha de Franca
PANJIM: The 15th all-Goa 4-a-side soccer organized by Penha de Franca will be held on February 24 near Penha de Franca panchayat ground, from 9.30 a.m.
The winners will get Rs 5,555 while the runners-up will receive Rs 3,333. Spot entries will be accepted.
