MAPUSA: St Anthony’s High School, Monte de Guirim, came from a set down to defeat South Goa winners Guardian Angel High School 18-21, 21-17, 21-17 in the U-14 boys State level Inter-School Sepak Takraw tournament conducted by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, at Peddem Sports complex, recently. Anant Sawal was the State organisor.
Captain Kurtson Menezes was the best player of the tournament. In the U-17 boys, St Anthony’s High School, Monte de Guirim, outplayed South Goa winners KRSS High School 21-10, 21-10. Captain Shubham Sahani put up an amazing performance.
