In the match played between St Britto High School and Loyola High School, Pune, Loyola attacked right from the word go, but their attacks were thwarted by the Britto’s defence.
Needing at least a draw to keep their hopes of reaching the semis alive, St. Britto’s stepped up their attack, but all their advances did not bear fruit. Despite the match ending in a goalless draw, both teams qualified for the semis.
The man of the match was Akshat Dadhoo of Loyola (Pune).
The first match of the day was played between St. Stanislaus High School (Mumbai) and St. Paul’s High School (Belgaum). St. Stanislaus, despite their win could not make it to the semifinals. The only goal scorer of the match, Shayne D’Costa of St Stanislaus was declared the man of the match.
St Britto (Goa) was runners up in Group B and Loyola, Pune were the leaders in Group B.
